Artist Spotlight: The Demon Beat

Hey everyone!

Welcome to this week's edition of Artist Spotlight! This week, we're going to check out an emerging artist from Shepherdstown, WV called The Demon Beat. The band is made up of Adam Meisterhans on lead guitar and vocals, Jordan Hudkins on drums, and Tucker Riggleman on bass. The band has a raw, dynamic garage rock/blues influence that is a refreshing change of pace from all the other music currently out there today. The band's intense vocals takes no prisoners and its primary focus is to make the listener pay attention and take notice of what the band has to say in their music. I managed to catch their show at O'Brien's in Allston, MA a couple of weeks ago and I was thoroughly impressed with their musicianship and their innate ability to communicate effectively with the audience, sometimes a very arduous task for any band to undertake. The band's set was loud, fresh, and had the full attention of everyone in the audience who enjoyed the songs that they had played on stage. A wonderful up and coming artist with plenty of potential for success in the future. Some standout tracks from these guys for you to check out include "Bad Man", "I'll Be Your Man", and "Get Outta My Head".
