Artist Spotlight: Me vs. Gravity

Hey everyone!

It's Tuesday and time for this week's Artist Spotlight feature. This week, we're staying put in Boston and checking out the incredible sounds of Me vs. Gravity. The band consists of Zach Nelson on lead vocals and guitar, Ben Meyers on drums, Dave Colicchio on guitar, and Jeff Kinsey on bass. The band has a raw, dynamic sound similar to that of My Chemical Romance with their own unique twist on it and personalities that match the sincerity of their music. I got the chance to check them out in concert a couple of months ago at The Middle East Upstairs where they were opening up for another Beantown area band, Call Me Anything. I was genuinely impressed with their set and the way the audience reacted to their songs, something that is really important to gauge how popular a band is within their scene. I chatted briefly with Zack and Ben after their set and was impressed with how kind and genuine souls they were and how much they enjoy performing to sold out crowds. Some recommended tracks for you to check out from these guys include "Walls" and "The Crime of the Scene".

For more information on Me vs. Gravity, cruise on over to their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mevsgravity and 'Like' their page as well while you're there. You can also follow the band on Twitter by going over to www.twitter.com/mevsgravity to grab all the latest updates direct from the band.
