Fall is around the corner, and also on the horizon is an all new edition of Artist Spotlight! This week, we're staying put in Boston and uncovering the sounds of a emerging and talented songwriter by the name of Melanie Lynx. Melanie has slowly been gaining steam as of late with her debut single titled "First Time" that eloquently displays her pristine voice and intricate songwriting that sets her apart from the other up and coming songwriters on the rise today. Her style of music is a mixture of pop-rock that evokes the style of Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson, but with a more sophisticated and straightforward style that is all her own and an absolutely dynamic voice to match that is truly spectacular and someone you need to pay attention to if you're looking for a break from the ordinary type of music that you find on the radio airwaves these days. A supremely talented songwriter that I would love to see gain even more attention in the months and years to come.
