Top Songs of 2012

Continuing my year-end roundup with a look back at some of the songs we heard in our cars or on our iPods this past year. 2012 was the breakout year for fun., who had an immediate smash with 'We Are Young" and "Some Nights", the title track from their album also released this year. Grouplove scored a huge smash with "Tongue Tied", which made its way to #1 this year on the Hot Alternative Songs chart, and unless you been living under a cave recently, there was no way to avoid the summer smash, Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" which was heard everywhere and inspired countless parodies that can be found everywhere on YouTube. Here's my rundown on some of the biggest tracks that defined the year of 2012:
