Last night's Grammy Awards ceremony was a celebration of all that was in the year of music, and everybody felt the Grammy love in full force. Gotye was among the night's big winners, taking home 3 awards including Best Alternative Album for "Making Mirrors", Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Somebody That I Used To Know", and for Record of the Year for the aforementioned track. The Black Keys took home the most trophies with 4 Grammys, sweeping all of the rock categories for Best Rock Album in "El Camino", and for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song in "Lonely Boy".
fun. took home 2 awards for Best New Artist and Song of the Year for "We Are Young". But the night's biggest prize belonged to Mumford & Sons, who took home the Album of the Year trophy for "Babel". Arguably the band's biggest achievement yet and a testament to the exquisite talent coming out of England and a coronation ceremony for a band who took the fast path to success, and it all paid off with a Grammy.
