Today's Artist Spotlight comes to us from across the pond in Nottingham, England where we find the rich and authentic vocal power of young 18 year old singer-songwriter Jake Bugg. Jake evokes the raw and rugged image of Bob Dylan with various other influences ranging from Arctic Monkeys to The Doors, with a wide spectrum of lyrical wit and poeticism that gives you a visual stimuli of what Jake is like and what he brings to the musical table. He started playing guitar regularly at the age of 12, and his skill set is quite apparent and is beginning to come into his own as a musician. His name has been popping up on many lists of artists to keep an eye on in the coming year, and it's quite apparent why he has so much buzz: he has the charm, charisma, and raw and natural talent to take it to the next level musically.
