We start things off with "Coke & Spriters", an indie-electro melange with distorted vocals whispering in the background providing for a layered and textured approach that really turns eyes and ears from first listen and allows the listener to continue listening in curiosity of what's coming up next down the pipe. "Heliophilia" picks up the pace a bit from the prior track, showcasing more noticeable musical pastures and the distorted synth arrangements begin to make their presence known to showcase the band's versatility and ability to adapt to ever changing musical climates that is one of the strengths of the group put on display here. "Tenderfoot" is my favorite song off the effort, with terrific vocals providing the narration of an eerie and ominous sounding track that best showcases the overall theme of the effort, and its ability to entice the listener with thought provoking melodies that puts the listener at work to try to make sense of what the whole song is about. "Spitefuck" wraps up our stay here with a marvelous synth loaded delight and jumbled vocals making great use of the musical environment raptured around and providing us with some much needed clarity as to what we experienced on this effort. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this effort as I don't usually listen to electronic music that much, but I'm a huge indie music junkie and coupling that with electro influences really made me want to listen with intrigue as the effort progressed, and the result is a worthy listening experience.
All throughout, a colorful and satisfying effort from Cfit, who are attempting to make their foray to American audiences with this simple effort that make take some time getting used to, but you will grow to appreciate over time after repeated listens.
