Montclair, NJ's own Those Mockingbirds are kicking off their tour today with a live performance on WDHA 105.5FM. The band recently won the mtvU Freshman competition which places the band in full rotation on the channel over the next couple of months. The band is also gearing up to release an album in the summertime that was recorded by Dean Baltulonis who also worked with Arctic Monkeys, and will be touring even more extensively after the new disc is released. The band also has coverage in this month's edition of Alternative Press and are available for spins in all AMI Jukeboxes nationwide throughout the month as well.
The band will be stopping by The Middle East on March 9th alongside Friendly People, a mainstay here on the site who are amazing musicians and terrific human beings as well. Here is their full tour itinerary:
