Grand Cousin Preview Self Titled Debut With "Oxygen"

Splitting its time between NYC and CT, Grand Cousin is gearing up for the July 8 release of their self titled debut effort. The disc is a warm and inviting mixture of upbeat indie rock rhythms similar to Vampire Weekend and MGMT with a wealth of talent from the trio who are finishing up their final year at Wesleyan University, which is coincidentally where the guys in MGMT attended as well. I've featured these guys before on the site a couple of months ago, and I really took to their mellow and eclectic vibe that they were emanating ever so strongly in their music, and you can clearly tell at how much fun the guys were having and loving every minute of being together.
