War Games Announce EP Release Date, Free Download For "Mountains"

Westport, MA prog-indie rockers War Games have announced that they'll release their sophomore EP titled The Acoustic Sessions on July 2. The effort is only available online via digital music retail outlets, and a caveat to this release is that the band is making available an acoustic version of their song "Mountains" for free on their Warped Tour Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands page over here. The band is competing with a host of other acts for the opportunity to play live at the Warped Tour this summer, a prime real estate exposure for any band to get themselves noticed by a crowd on a larger scale and hopefully a bigger degree of success to follow as well.
