Artist Spotlight: British Harlem

For today's edition of Artist Spotlight to kick off the week, we head across the pond to Swindon, England and stumble across the ever vibrant sounds of British Harlem. The band consists of four friends Ady, Jordan, David. and Ben and they have a infectious, high range melodic twist that is totally their creation, and is something entirely unique within their own collective that allows you to get a sense of where these guys come from and what they're all about musically. I've always been intrigued by what's happening across the pond in merry old England, and the musical styles are not all that different from over here in the States, and it's all music that I feel comfortable listening to and isn't all that foreign to me because I love indie and alternative rock, and it's something that is on a level playing field with all the other types of music that I listen to regularly in my spare time. A truly enjoyable act that is definitely worthy of more press over here in the U.S. Some tracks that you should take a listen at from them include "Ride" and "Friends".
