Artist Spotlight: Short on Shame

For today's edition of Artist Spotlight, we head over to Detroit and check in with the high energy sounds of Short on Shame. The band consists of Chuck Saad on bass and lead vocals, Zack Brandenburg on guitars and vocals, and Devin Harrison on percussion. The band has a energetic, frenetic blend of rock that is representative of the tough area the members grew up in, and shows their dreams and inspirations embedded deep within their music that is autobiographical in nature, and is tough and gritty to listen to at the same time. Music is a cathartic release, and allows us to take out our aggressions towards society in general, or through one person's shortcomings either their fault or not, and gives us something to look forward to in our everyday lives. An exciting and promising upstart act that I'd like to see get more attention outside of their respective hometown. Some recommended tracks for you to check out include "Red, White, and Black" and "Friends".

For more info on Short on Shame, head on over to their Facebook page located here and see what the band is like upfront from a music perspective. You can access a wide variety of features from their page, including the ability to stream their music directly from the page via the BandPage feature that allows you a handy method of listening to everything from the band in a central location.
