Checking in with an all new edition of Artist Spotlight for you today! This one is brought to you by a Boston based group by the name of Camden. The group consists of Jason Sibilia on guitar, keys, and vocals, James Williamson on vocals and bass, Timmy Miles on guitar, and Brandon Neuburger on drums. The band has a simple and straightforward approach to their music, with elements of The Strokes thrown in for some good measure to balance it all out and let their sound speak for itself. I managed to catch these guys in concert last night at The Sinclair in Cambridge, and they kicked off the night in grand fashion with a terrific set that really speaks volumes about the depth of talent emanating from the Boston scene right now, and their effect on the music tastes of the general public is prevalent from the guys, which are constantly changing by the minute and are evolving gradually and getting more complex and versatile, and there is nothing wrong with that. It was great finally getting introduced to Camden and I have high hopes for their bright future here in Beantown and beyond. Some recommended songs for you to check out from them include "Talking About You" and "You're So Fine".
For more information on the boys in Camden, head on over to their Facebook page here and get to know the band a little bit better personally. The band can be followed on Twitter as well directly from this location here and find out when the band will be performing next and interact with the guys at the same time as well! If you would like to check out their music, it's available for free stream or download at their Bandcamp site located here and see what they're all about.
