Artist Spotlight: Dirt Naps

Have another terrific edition of Artist Spotlight all ready for you today! We keep it local in Allston Rock City where we come across the down and dirty rock sounds of Dirt Naps. The band consists of Lincoln, Paul, Ben, Jerome, Jordan, and Pete. The band's sound is a raw and energetic blend of folk rhythms conjured upon a garage rock framework that is the purest music in all sense of the word and have a true creative outlet in place for all to let out their emotions in a barrage of high energy focus. I got the opportunity to catch these guys in concert the other night at Great Scott where they played with Today Junior (another Artist Spotlight alumni) and The Shones, and they really set the tempo for the night and for the other bands to follow with their highly stylized blend of rock showcasing their no holds barred attitude. Lincoln the guitarist was definitely feeling the energetic vibes as his shirt was nearly all the way unbuttoned, showcasing his sexy essence to the crowd while also indicating that they were playing a hell of a show as well. A terrific live band deserving of some serious love here on the site. Some tracks for you to check out include "Bees Knees" and "Skin Tight Jeans".
