Grand Cousin To Release Debut EP This Spring

The product of Wesleyan University in Connecticut, indie-alternative upstarts Grand Cousin are gearing up for the release of their debut EP slated for release in the Springtime. The trio is in good company as other prominent musicians have come out of the same university, most notably MGMT and Santigold, but these guys have a straight forward indie sound similar in vein to Vampire Weekend with a sound that is all their own, and represents the hard work aesthetic that is embedded within their mainframe that has begun a shift in their popularity, and are beginning to generate buzz in the NYC region with their performances at Arlene's Grocery to name a few. It should also interest you and make a note of that Henry Hall is the son of Julia Louis-Dreyfus of Seinfeld fame, so that will definitely incite interest from both music and sitcom junkies who have a genuine appreciation for both fields.
