Bent Knee, Symmetry, and Licious to Perform at Walter-Aid Benefit Concert @ Radio
Some Boston and New England based musical acts are all joining together for a good cause to benefit charity! Boston's own Bent Knee and Licious, and Providence's own Symmetry will be the highlighted performers at the Walter-Aid benefit concert taking place at Radio next Thursday in Somerville, MA. The proceeds from ticket sales will directly help pets in need via www.imom.org, an organization created in the memory of Magic the Cat and dedicated to providing monetary assistance for families in desperate need of life saving veterinary treatments for their pets, and educating the general public about the benefits of spaying and neutering their beloved creatures.
There will be tons of raffle prizes to be given away in between the band's sets. They include:
- 12 hours of studio time at Dirty Water Sound of Boston
- Gift certificate from Shag Hairstyling of Boston
- Tattoo time courtesy of Good Mojo Tattoo of Beverly
- Dog training and walking provided by Alicia Posell, KPA CTP
- An assorted grab bag featuring merch and/or music from the artists in the showcase
The event will be hosted by Nash DeVille from the Boston League of Women Wrestlers and the event will take place on June 20th at Radio in Somerville, MA. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 if you buy them at the door. The event is 21+ and the doors will open at 7pm with performances starting at 8pm.
