Artist Spotlight: The Ceremonies

Opening up the week with an all new edition of Artist Spotlight! Today, we venture out to somewhere much warmer than Boston right now, Los Angeles, CA to be exact where we encounter the vivacious rhythms of The Ceremonies. The trio consists of the Cook brothers: Matthew, Mark, and Michael. The band have only been making music since 2012, but in that short span of time have captured the attention of many with their highly melodic style of indie-rock punctuated by an intense percussion arrangement that had me enthralled right from the get-go. I came across these guys while flipping through the TV this past weekend, and caught their performance from out in LA where they performed "Land of Gathering" and my jaw totally hit the floor. They left me spellbound with their stage presence and they seemed in charge right from the start and I never saw a point during their performance where they didn't dominate with their insatiable hooks and endless charm that had me believers in them and all that they can do musically. A terrific undiscovered act that is demanding of your attention immediately.

For more information on The Ceremonies, give them a 'Like' on Facebook right here and find out everything that you need to know about the guys. You may follow them on Twitter as well from this location here and find out when the guys will be making their way to the East Coast sometime with a concert appearance. Visit their official website over here for more in depth information concerning the gentlemen, and check out their recently released self-titled EP now available for purchase on iTunes at this link here.
