Artist Spotlight: Parade of Lights

Closing out and heading into Super Bowl weekend with a brand new issue of Artist Spotlight! Today, we're in the West Coast and jetting out to Los Angeles where we locate the sounds of Parade of Lights. The band consists of Ryan Daly, Anthony Improgo, Michelle Ashley, and Randy Schulte. The band has a pure, liquidlike electronic sound similar in vein to Daft Punk with elements of Foster The People embedded within the fabric to give it a full featured sound that allows them to stand out prominently from other similar acts within the genre so that they don't get lost in the shuffle. I really enjoyed the band's stage presence when I caught their concert performance on TV last weekend, and it showed me that they have a strong musical kinship going both with their respective bandmates and the audience that has gathered to see them in concert and be inspired of what they have to communicate musically. I'm slowly start to delve into electronic music and this is the perfect group to listen to if you're looking to get your feet wet in this genre that is slowly starting to expand into the mainstream as of right now. A terrific upstart act with plenty of potential and room to grow in the near future. Some standout tracks for you to check out include "Talk to You" and "Wild".
