With the NFL Playoffs about to get underway this weekend with the Wild Card Round, I'd thought it would be a good idea to do a rundown of the different teams and what music they normally pipe through the speakers during the games. Music can have an effect on the home team as it allows them to feel loose and get a rush from the cheers of their crowd, and it can also affect the opposition as it puts them on edge right away and is at a disadvantage at inopportune moments throughout the game. Here is a rundown of some of the teams currently in the playoffs and what music is running rampant on their playlists:
New England Patriots
Archie Eversole - We Ready (usually played during the pre-game warm ups and also sporadically when the Pats are on Defense)
Rush - Tom Sawyer (played when Tom Brady and the other QB's are out practicing 40 minutes before game time)
